Casa Sonja was founded in 2021 with one idea in mind, breaking cycles of violence and abuses. Our way to do that since has been to create a secure and loving place, where kids and sometimes mother can grow and start to hope for a great future again. After several years, we now know that our intuition that a children’s home can be far more than just a momentarily shelter and can spark new opportunities and give a shot at happyness and freedom to our children.

The doors of Casa Sonja are open to children in Cobano and the surrounding area to provide a safe place, access to a great education, personal development, and inclusion in a green and healing and productive environment that brings healthy food to the table, straight from the garden.
